Sunset at Patos
In the summer of 2022 a few friends and I took a backpacking kayaking trip around the San Juan Islands off the coast of Washington. Patos was our first stop and made quite an impression. At dusk we wondered out to the lighthouse to enjoy the sunset while eating blackberry we found on the trail, listening to the grasses blow in the breeze and the seals off in the distance. I have a love for this photo I took and have created many different works from it but this is by far my favorite. This is a 5 x 7 linocut print on an off white paper.
